Important Notice: AFTCO SBC6 Recall

We discovered an issue with the SBC6 model, affecting a few butts that don't meet our specifications. If you purchased an SBC6 prior to August 2021, your butt is not impacted.

For SBC6 Purchased on August, 2021 or later, the wall thickness may not meet our specifications. It is impossible for customers to check to see if their SBC6 is impacted or not. 

1. Contact customer service for a prepaid return shipping label.
2. Send your butt for inspection. We'll provide a either a refund or replacement if necessary.

Failure to check and potentially replace your rod butt could lead to rod snapping just above the bending butt. There is safety concern, and you could also lose your reel and rod.
